His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, this morning inaugurated the new headquarters of the National School of Administration, Journalism and Magistracy.

The new headquarters is part of the President’s programme to modernise infrastructure, particularly educational infrastructure.

It includes 24 classrooms with a capacity of 720 students, 36 administrative offices, a large library seating 70 researchers at a time, two lecture theatres each with a conference room, an audiovisual laboratory, a language laboratory, a meeting room, a computer room, a permanent student residence for 148, a mosque, a medical clinic and a fully equipped restaurant.

This academic complex will enable the School to carry out its mission of training the State’s administrative, judicial and financial officials through initial and continuing training, using the latest methods in professional higher education. The new headquarters has specialised rooms where students can practise their future duties, as well as language laboratories. It also supports the country’s digital transformation, with computer rooms fitted with modern equipment.
